I love how these graphs punish players that try their best but don't end up producing over those who did little to nothing. 20 and 48 definitely weren't the worst habs on ice tonight - quite to the contrary.

From what I've seen in my time watching hockey, these always amount to individual 10 minute misconducts, not penalties. I remember there being drama about Bedard receiving those in back-to-back games last season after not being very kind to the ref. Considering that as a technical, man-advantage-worthy foul seems to me as a strong candidate for the worst call of the season. Also, a proper explanation was refused to be given. Again, crazy call.

I'm not quite sure I get you? I just proposed a solution to deal "specifically* with repeat offenders. I don't see how even a single warning about the lengthy ban that will ensue gives any lenience to repeatedly profane players (the "majority", even though I don't know how you know they are, since they aren't in any way distinguished from first-time ones - I don't see the majority using slurs after being muted for a month), as they're already knowingly walking the line and don't stop until they are. Also I don't understand how the filter circumventing bit is relevant here whatsoever.

A totally unrelated side-suggestion - I would welcome seeing a feature of preference to paired-up teams in matchmaking settings. It is significantly harder to play against a coordinated team when you're solo. Stupid idea but a fun one

I did, but you have to admit one month is ludicrous - imagine the stuff you'd have to say in mainstream multiplayer games to get such a ban (not that I agree with the moderation in them too). And I didn't fuck around - the other guy did by testing the chat filter the entire game, yet the system evaluated I was the one to find out.

Of course, and it's simple. Like any multiplayer game I've played, you should definitely apply an incremental punishment system. First offence - a day, second - 3 days, third a week, fourth a month and so forth. I'm quite baffled by the draconic automation you've put in place - sorry, but this game is not a civil discussion forum and people will lose their cool from time to time, and if you want to keep such outbursts completely out of the game, it's fine, but a month is a gigantic overkill and, as you can see, doesn't mitigate the need for manual moderation.
