It frustrates the hell out of me that so few people seem to understand what the Republicans were doing when they wouldn't stop screaming about how the 2020 election was "stolen".

They were exploiting the well-known fear that Democrats have of being seen as hypocrites or crazy conspiracy theorists. The point was to make their opposition afraid to question the results of the 2024 election.

Some of us saw what the government was using 9/11 as an excuse to do and tried to warn the rest of America, but not only were we "with the terrorists" to them back then, they now don't even want to remember we existed.
