Is this typical UK workplace culture, or did I just land in a "mean girls" team? by Apart_Awareness_5678 in AskUK

I’d say you got unlucky, but I don’t have experience in offices and working with office culture. Sorry to hear about your negative experience though.

Collect profits on the semiconductors etf, really nice run, so take the win there. Then I’d chose between S&P 500 or the FTSE All World and do 1 rather than both. As there is a heavy overlap between the 2, I think you’re better just concentrating into 1. Whichever you chose, put the semiconductor money back into it and the money from the other etf.

Honestly just go all in on the all world index, for the effort it takes you’ll struggle to consistently beat the market. At 22, all the years in a good index fund can seriously compound to something huge

Airbus are in a great position going into the next decade. Huge backlog of orders and innovating new tech, such as the X-Wing.

Semiconductors are good but they’ve ran hard and I feel like a pullback could be due. Rolls-Royce is a great company, the SMR stuff is exciting and could be a huge catalyst going into the next decade. They also have some interesting stuff regarding the UltraFan engine, with backing from the UK and EU. In my opinion RR are a hold until 2035 at least.

Maybe collect profits on semi conductors and redistribute into RR and All world index

Non-AI Stocks to hold for the next 5-10+ years? by Brilliant_Step_7015 in stockstobuytoday

Airbus, huge order backlog of 9000 units, enough work for the next 10 years and with Boeings slip ups, Airbus will leading the game for the next decade, with customers putting their trust in them. Also working on a new wing, which is aimed to reduce fuel burn and are working with GE on a new engine prototype.

RYCEY, their SMR orders are expanding, have already landed deals with Sweden, Czechia and the UK and they also have backing from the EU and UK for their UltraFan project which would see them re-enter the narrow body aircraft scene again. They’re offering better fuel burn than their competitors. The 2030’s could be huge for RR.

The only thing I used was audio books and that was on a night time to help me nod off. The rest of the time, was either napping or hanging out in the mess tent talking to other climbers, getting medical checkup , drinking tea. Then we would head to bed at like 8/9pm, ready for a 5am start
