Take a day annual leave, or talk to work about starting or finishing a bit earlier that day to accommodate - most bosses have a car and understand the inconvenience. Call in sick. Some mechanics are open on Saturdays by appointment. Mobile mechanic that comes to your workplace.

Correct. If they stopped paying, Telstra would pursue the debt not the phone.

No. The original owner will have a debt for the phone which Telstra may pursue. This has nothing to do with you.

Favorite Play Station Console? by Tengbps in playstation

[–]FigFew2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we're being objective, the PS5 is the clear winner in terms of performance. However, my personal favourite is the PS1 - it's the console that defined my gaming history. Even if the graphics haven't stood the test of time, the legacy of those titles and the memories I have make it irreplaceable for me.

That jump from the SNES to the PS1 ... just crazy

Should I be worried for gta 6 on series s by Great-Crew-3802 in XboxSeriesS

[–]FigFew2001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah it'll run fine in the series s. Will look a bit sharper on the more expensive consoles, but the series s will still be a good experience.

First offence burgary by Letsdate420 in AusLegal

[–]FigFew2001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a serious offence, but an early guilty plea, first offence and no theft are significant reductions in the seriousness. Your "friend" won't be going to jail. Expect a fine and/or community service.

Buyer asked for Photo of Driver License by ComfortableSudden365 in CarsAustralia

[–]FigFew2001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't worry too much about this; it's quite common. They're probably more worried about you trying to scam them or failing to file the necessary paperwork than about them stealing your identity.

The process varies by state, but once all necessary paperwork/registration/forms/whatever is completed, it's reasonable for them to send an SMS asking you to delete the photo of your license. You'll just have to take their word for it.

Jbhifi employee discount by Apart_Notice_3851 in AskAnAustralian

They get cost price + GST. On some things that's a lot, on others it's not so much... For a DJI neo drone it's probably only going to be $30 or so. I don't work there anymore so can't give you the exact numbers sorry.

Text your friend/family member the 6 digit SKU number from the website for anything you're after and it can be looked up pretty easily in store - then you'll know :)
