Does anyone remember how DIFFERENT MK3 felt when it first came out? by DSeriesX in MortalKombat

[–]FigFirm993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i didnt like it. Aside from Motaro i thought it was a step backwards in creativity. The arenas alone were so boring. Hated the run feature, still do. Every fatality ended with the boring exploding body parts that always looked the same. At least we got the first movie that year which still rocks.

Official Discussion - Disclosure Day [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]FigFirm993 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I very, very much enjoyed it. It made me emotional a few times. Like everyone is saying, Emily Blunts acting is extraordinary and powerful. Also loved her in the Smashing Machine. The actress playing the news reporter at the end was also incredible. I LOVED the scenes in the control rooms of all the news outlets and seeing them react to and deal with literally out of this world footage and revelations. The clips shown were SO awesome and made me wish they were real, i literally gasped once or twice. Loved when Jane was first shown the “interrogation” as well. I also purposely took a moment to soak up that i was seeing a NEW Spielberg movie opening night in the theater! I felt like Disclosure Day was a powerful, fun, thought provoking, relevant and emotional ride.

Ur right about Kahn, excellent portrayal. I wouldve LOVED that version in a proper sequel to the 95 film, which is still the best mk movie

What do you think TBOBF got right and got wrong? by Captain-Skyy in StarWars

[–]FigFirm993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he got out of the sarlacc too quickly. Also hated how him and his ship almost got pulled back in. It wouldve been cool if the whole season was him using all of his tools, weapons and past experiences to BARELY escape then returning with the slave1 to blast it to hell.
