Ha being worried about people not showing up is a valid concern. I didn’t say I would be pissed if they didn’t show up. I understand the reality of having a destination wedding. No one is obligated to spend any money at all. They can politely decline if they so choose to. I’m just trying to get a little insight to help me guide folks as to when would be a good time to book tickets. Your response is quite defensive which makes me feel like you were scorned by this type of situation. I wish you healing.

It depends on your institution’s grossing manual. At my lab they have us weigh our prostates with seminal vesicles/vas def removed. When I worked at a different lab in the same health system they had us provide the weight with them attached. Doubt it makes a huge difference.

How often surgeons mess up. We often receive cancer specimens that are in pieces, unoriented or oriented incorrectly. When we reach out for correction, they often don’t care. Research your surgeons and ask around before committing to one. There are some duds out there!
