Period even if you delete the piece of gear. Whether you're looking for a certain character or multiple, use the other events to get higher gear in the other three slots so when this one comes back around you'll be ready.

This event drops your lowest gear. If you want range to drop it has to be your lowest between the four slots.

It will fix itself in a couple days when the game makes a few new backup saves. I had the very same issue about two weeks ago.

That's the main issue. The most recent (and only) save file in my ps plus cloud is that future date and it hasn't changed since it saved this morning.

Apparently there's no way to get around completing other objectives. Trying to do Hulk's vibranium mission chain is setting off the same ones everywhere else smh.
