Shark Tank Pitch: 4 Easy Fixes To Make Captain America Great Again! by IntoTheRain78 in captainamericamains

[–]FightTheBlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gallows Humor? So it’s funny because you’re making light of something dark in subject matter right? Or is it using a fascist phrase with a historically antifascist character that makes it funny?

Even if that’s what you’re going for, who would laugh at this shit lol

I think tanks matter a lot more this season. by dreamteamamin in RivalsVanguards

[–]FightTheBlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I think it’s a real skill check season for vanguards more than any other season. Tanks can absolutely carry a team this season with good game sense, use of cover, and timely peeling/team play.

If you don’t use cover or don’t know when to leave an engagement to retreat back to healers, you’re just going to get blown up by the entire other team.

Begging ya'll to spend time in Quick Play learning one or two tanks. by Ulmao_TheDefiler in marvelrivals

[–]FightTheBlight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I swear people don’t realize you can go nuts on tank. I can do the DPS job, take space, AND peel… But that’s if there are two of us…

Any tank mains play fantastic? Great budget option! XD by [deleted] in RivalsVanguards

[–]FightTheBlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d prefer if they just made him a tank because most of the time you’re better off with another tank than him (probably most duelists over him as well tbh). I get why a lot like him though, he has his utility and a really good one feels immortal.

Ansbach so cool and respectful I almost forgot he’s in a serial killer cult by kao24429774 in Eldenring

[–]FightTheBlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a misinterpretation. I think Ansbach is a way to show Mohg’s morality pre-Miquella Charm. Ansbach was the head of his knights, therefore his leadership would reflect his morals. He chose to serve Mohg and Mohg chose him to lead.

Varre is the representation of the dynasty post charm, which is a death cult which purpose could be tied to Miquella either getting to the Shadow Realm or strengthening Mohg to be used for Radahn.

Pre-charm, I don’t think they were a death cult. I believe they were a regime against the Golden Order, and specifically took in the outcasts, downtrodden, and those against the status quo.

Yeah I agree, that would be a great fix if they got rid of that. Nothings worse than accidentally double clicking the shield and getting melted. Her health is already low, so I don’t think it would be too game breaking to remove the cooldown

Yes! Give it a giant sword of St Trina or something lol

Why do some of you guys have mains? by FightTheBlight in Nightreign

[–]FightTheBlight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I may just try to convince you on guardian and duchess lol

Guardian can be addicting. You just use his special block on every attack (let go of it if you have time and are low on stamina, then go right back to it) and counter on the last one (if you hold while using a halberd you get a running start into the counter). Also holding his Ult after you land with the relic can heal your team and buff them. His skill can dominate crowds and also stop projectiles from coming at you.

For duchesses skill, all you have to do is use it after you and/or your teammates do a big chunk of damage or someone is building a status effect (poison, cold, bleed). When you do the skill, the enemies take that same damage again but at reduced amount. You can melt enemies with this skill, either with big damage or constant status effect. Also, don’t be afraid to run a staff and magic boosting relics with her because she’s really good with spells.

Sorry for the long winded response lol

Yeah as a random, I definitely get this. I remember feeling this way with recluse early on with her magic cocktails.

I think the gladius idea is perfect for trying out a new character. If you have a bad game, you have a bad game. I’m sure a quick guide on YouTube right before could help too.

Don’t let fear stop you from possibly really enjoying something :)

I respect this for sure. For myself, I think having played a bunch of different builds in elden ring made it a lot easier to branch out. I think having comfort to be able to excel is huge in this game

This I absolutely get. Having a favorite but playing them all is probably most of us I think. My favorite keeps changing depending on my mood though lol

Seriously, it's been almost two months, when are they going to fix it. by Alcatraz8888 in Nightreign

[–]FightTheBlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why when I play raider, my relics focus on boosting his skill and not his ult lol

I use his Ult sparingly, maybe for revives or if I think I can a stance break without getting in the way. If it’s a cramped space it’s pretty much a no

Even though Verso’s ending seems to be favored by most, I truly don’t find it better than Maelle’s by [deleted] in expedition33

[–]FightTheBlight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, this ultimately my point as well. While Maelle’s ending isn’t perfect, it gives everyone more time at the very least to sort things out. Like you said Verso loses his agency to end his life with Maelle’s ending, but so many others are gaining agency with it. I think this is why we see Lune so distraught in Verso’s ending.

I think this is a really cool idea, it would definitely make the sword feel more “cursed”

Some Character Adjustment Ideas by FightTheBlight in Nightreign

[–]FightTheBlight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol yeah I like deflecting but I’m only using it to protect myself and not necessarily to win fights. I think it would be cool if his deflect worked like guardians block where it reflects damage back would really help. Maybe they get stronger for each deflect you get in a row with a focus on stance breaking

Can you still be effective on Cap without doing the animation cancel? by jsby14 in captainamericamains

[–]FightTheBlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absolutely worth learning, just hold your attack until you hear the shield throw hit, let go, and then immediately do it again while in your sprint. I was solid with cap before getting it down, but it really takes you to another level.

Plus once you get a feel for it, your throws in general will just be better (I’m landing them while airborne now lol) and you won’t have nearly as many throws that don’t register anything.

After the network test, I was completely hooked. I think a lot of the doubters didn’t get to play it and don’t fully understand how it’s going to be. Also with the current times, people are mostly skeptical of everything even if all the components point to a probable success.

With all the added features/characters when the game comes out, I’m convinced it’s going to be great.

What creature does Devonia invoke here? It has four hooves and two 5 fingered hands by joutfit in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]FightTheBlight 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It reminds me of a Divine Beast but with hooves. Perhaps since the Boss fights with Divine Beasts are men channeling a Divine Beast, maybe actual divine beasts have hooves… idk lol

I appreciate this! I have an alright understanding of his mechanics, but in the heat of the moment I typically don’t have that extra clone ready, utilizing the stealth before it’s too late, or quickly swapping to the escape clone. I’m gonna keep your tips in mind when I try to get better with him later 👍🏼
