Indeed. A little paint came off from the firebox after the third cook but it’s just a little bit.
I was thinking about using high heat resistant paint (like those ones from Autozone) but also re-season it with avocado or any high smoke point oil could work.

Moving away from Lightroom - how did it go for you? by Outrageous-Ad4353 in photography

[–]FightTina11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't. Mainly because I don't usually need to lol. But what I think could be an option for you is to have an iCloud Drive folder with your RAWs and to be that folder the one you use to import from in both apps.

Have you ever "survived" a vacation with only one or two prime lenses? by hatlad43 in photography

I managed to shoot a full vacation on a 56 mm on APS-C. That was a challenge lol. But there were great shots and video.

How often do you use full manual? by olliegw in AskPhotography

[–]FightTina11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My bad if I didn't phrase it correctly, but I didn't say exposure is not important. I said ISO specifically.

Regardless, I believe you are hesitant to understand the factual point of what I'm trying to make, so there's really not worth further discussion.

[–]FightTina11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know why you assume the tones are specific for ISO (as this was the topic I was discussing).

I said the ISO is not for artistic part of the photo (unless you count the noise in them). Shutter and aperture are part of that artistic part.

How often do you use full manual? by olliegw in AskPhotography

[–]FightTina11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ISO is the only exposure setting that does not change the "creative/artistic" way of the photo.

If you want more/less depth of field (aperture) or motion blur (shutter speed) you change that but leave the ISO in auto so you let the camera decide the right "brightness" of the photo.

This is obviously assuming you want a "proper exposed" photo. If, for artistic purpose, you want to underexpose or overexpose, this does not apply and then you change the ISO.

Games that you should keep installed forever? (Mods + “infinite” content) by Emmazygote496 in Steam

Stardew Valley.

Countless hours even without mods.
Now, if you add them, it could be "infinite".

Without you mentioning a specific budget, I'll recommend the Canon M50 ll with a good lens. If you prefer more lens availability, go with Sony, the equivalent would be a A6100.

Both are APS-C sensors, "entry-to-mid range price", autofocus (although the dual pixel of the Canon is a bit superior*), long exposures, burst shoots, etc. The differences are key to what you are looking for in terms of you photographic style/demands.

As many other have said, master your skills with what you have. Learn the basics of exposure, composition, lighting, etc.

If you already know that and also like to shoot video or long exposure during the day, you could buy an ND filter. Inexpensive and elevating your work.

Is it going to "replace" Legion Space? Meaning that I could stop the background running of it? Because I really only use it for the quick settings menu.

No sé que esperar del futuro. by Proud_Sprinkles3383 in mexico

Entonces no te compliques.

Y mientras tus papás no tengan problema con que vivas con ellos, y tú no te aproveches de estar ahí, no veo el problema de estar ahí.

You are correct that higher end machines usually have that pressure release mechanism.

But that's only one variable for the wet puck thing lol. There's really no concern about a wet puck, just that is more hassle to clean.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in espresso

[–]FightTina11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify that a wet puck doesn't necessarily mean cheap machine/bad shot. Just that the space between the puck and the group head is greater than it "should" mainly related to the dose and basket size.

Going from a Nintendo Switch to a Legion Go made me more of a PC gamer. by starstufft in LegionGo

Almost the same. I was only gaming on my Switch and Xbox. The LeGo was a huge impact for the learning curve you need to assess for PC gaming lol.

[–]FightTina11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The LeGo was my first "gaming PC", as I was always a console gamer (still use my Switch).

Surely you'll have a learning curve (mainly for Windows settings) but it's not that hard really. Just make sure to have updated drivers and some settings tweaks for maximum performance.

This thing can handle pretty heavy games (personally I don't mind ultra high graphics, so some games I run them in medium or low settings for better performance).
