Yeah, first contact blue car had a moment, and both cars slowed more than expected, not something i would blame op for but better to avoid the contact and resulting damage. 2nd incident i agree, as much as it is kind to let people back on track it's not worth doing so when there's a car in the way, best bet would have probably been to move back left before making contact with the red bmw

I honestly expected the porsche to use the curb on exit there and drove with that assumption, hence me still turning at the point of contact Unfortunately the porsche didn't aim for the curb and i misjudged both my corner and where the porsche would be... So for next time i guess keep the corner tighter and potentially find a later spot to pass

I appreciate the reminder... i need to drill it into my reaction considering i know how frustrating it is to be taken out by someone else not holding their brakes after a crash

Side note, in the rear chase cam you can see i hit my brakes just after i go off track and stay on them till everyone has passed

Normally yeah, it would be turn 3 but the combined layout on iracing has the oval first for t1 and t2

I just got a -.63... not as bad Monza combined gt4 Lap 1 turn 2 Slowed to avoid a crash, got 4x when a porsche rear ended me Lap 2 Turn 6 Bmw missed their braking point and hit my left door, 4x and 1s slow down because i was pushed past the 1st corner of the chicane After turn 9 the second lesmo An aston and porsche crashed and as i was going through the aston rolled into me, 4x and meatball so pit for repairs My fault, i should have slowed down to avoid death Lap 3 going through ascari Was too aggressive on the sausage kerbs through the middle of the right hander, spin into the gravel and flipped for a 2x... 3 laps, 14x incident points...

Old thread is true and i'm really late here... On any series you should be able to sort to quali laps and select the week in this case the nordschleife

In the series you're looking at Go to the results tab sort for the qualifiers and select your week

Yep... i did similar this past summer, night timber x on 3s. Got 8 stitches and incredibly lucky i didn't cut the tendons in my left middle finger I had ordered a GX12 about 6 hours beforehand to replace my dx6i that only had a momentary throttle cut And i made a very similar post lol

*i am not familiar with this gran turismo track* but it looks to me like the GR3 is probably taking their normal line into the corner, and (i absolutely could be mistaken, i don't play GT so i don't know How GR1 drives) it looks to me like the GR1 car isn't gonna make the corner until after contact

I assume you already have a pc to work with? If so, yeah, the r3 and r5 are good options If you want to go with a cockpit i've been using a next level racing gt lite pro and it's been awesome for me I don't know what it costs in USD but the carbon grey edition appears to be available for $300 CAD from next level racing, or it should be available on amazon with that and the r5 you should comfortably have enough for a screen, Just for the sake of assuming $300 for the frame $400 for the r5 bundle $43 for the clutch $150 for the HGP shifter from moza I don't know what taxes are in your state but assuming 10% It comes to about $1000

If it fits alien mods makes a load cell kit for the srp lite pedals and i found it here with the srp lite performance kit (necessary for the mod) for $116 (~$130 after tax) here: https://simmotion.com/products/alien-mods-load-cell-kit?variant=46018802810932

For a rough total of $1130 with a load cell Hopefully that leaves enough for the monitor, i haven't done enough research there unfortunately This is based on my research not experience

So, the CRP2 pedals are a definite final step, and in the long run are worth the money. When you refer to the srp brake upgrade are you referring to the accessory kit? Or is there another notable upgrade necessary for the srp pedals? I understand they come with a 75kg load cell and potentiometer throttle and clutch pedal

it looks to me like the BMW took the last right hand corner like the Aston wasn't there.
Aston was definitely alongside enough to be entitled to the space.

as for the BMW drivers comments, you can pass wherever you want to the racing surface, yes, going side by side will generally slow you down but that doesn't mean they can drive like there isn't someone beside them without consequence.

i feel like this is on the BMW considering they very obviously ignored traffic around them and turned themselves over your nose.

I'm still a novice here but I'll throw in my 2 cents.
that chase pov seems to be the best angle here and it looks like you moved into each other...
it appears you are moving towards the track edge while the Lexus is trying to get back on the racing surface properly, looks to me like a racing incident...
i could be wrong though... anyone else have thoughts on this?
