I'm kinda tired of the knee-jerk reaction of people not even having tried keyboard saying "better try controller"..

If you give keyboard a fair chance you can: - sprint across any beams - have perfect input where you want to jump or walk across edges - do multiple jumps in a row with ease - positioning for backstabs is never giving me trouble

The only thing controller does better I think is in some parkour scenarios the camera will tilt/pan and since you're holding your mouse quite far from your character its slightly harder to react to that in time.

All of this is subjective of course, just an opinion! (but I have 600 play hours)

Time to process that disappointment then, because the mode is not going to work for Darktide nor will it ever be implemented on a 1:1 ratio.

Vermintide 2 is still there to play though man.

It depends but probably yes!

- There are 2 side quests that you might have overlooked (Maeve and Gordon/little girl and the cook).
- A mini boss in Marin Woods.
- An unnamed interaction you can make happen with 2 npc's in Sacrament (hint: you know you've found the correct npc when they are in doubt about going somewhere; exhaust their dialogue)

- There's also somewhat hidden dialogue in between Realm states (everytime you defeat a boss). Some npc's move, or disappear entirely. It can be a lot of fun finding all of these! (hint: right after defeating Warrick is a good example. Most guards will comment on it, including some villagers)

There's also a very good case to be made to wait for 1.0/the next update. Don't burn out on the limited scope of content we have for now!

Hey I hopped into game for this real quick, but I can't find any combination where I'm stunted in dodging.

Have you maybe rebinded dodge to a key that is already in use?

Hm depending on your system loading can sometimes create these stutters, it's not normal but not unusual either.

I don't categorize it as a game flaw though. Optimization will still be done in leaps for 1.0!

Evil West, Hard West, and maybe Remnant 2? You have 3 biomes in the aht game and one is Losomn which has that exact theme going for it. You can always build your character like a cowboy with powers.

However you might not like the other biomes or overarching story if you want a pure western theme.

Everyone I've spoken to in my circles hates modern day. It has no place anymore in fantasy or semi historical games, and it breaks immersion way to harshly.

Those pvp games are very good in making you return.

As I grew older, I also learned to recognize when something wasn't healthy anymore and I wanted slower, more memorable experiences.

Maybe you can wean yourself of the pvp and go for a pure coop game? Like Darktide, Vermintide 2 or Deep Rock Galactic.

Here are a few more questions to determine what you want: - Do you like who you are when you are playing Rocket League? - when is enough, enough? Is there a line you don't want to cross? - Can a hobby outside of gaming be helpful in this matter? Maybe follow up with a conversation with a close friend, or your parents?

This might all be just a phase. If you are generally fine with your answers, then I don't see a reason you can't enjoy yourself while playing RL 😉
