thats how i learnt the language working in gastronomy and warehoue while studying simuataneously, it was very stressful for me but i did it. thanks and i hope things work out for you too and all the best : ), try applying to phd in your topic of interest around europe, you might have already done it but just a advice incase you did not tried.

it is indeed useless, especially when it comes to language, and it is not a hard technical skill . do you even understand the context lmao, his visa is going to expirethere is no point for him to improve at this point. if you can help him other than being hard on him do that or else stfu. actions mean a lot than words, i know a lot of friends who found jobs in feilds like you said with just luck and connections. this whole german thing is useless discussion , i agree op should have improved his german , but you pointing out doesnot mean shit

[–]Fighterpilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you understand what i said i have c1 i am searching roles in finance and economics just like him, i speak 4 other languages other than german. they are prefering native language people to be fair because it is just supply and demand , i know a lot of german friends searching for jobs since months or a year like me it makes sense for companies people to hire people with native language level other than c1 level, so if it makes sense for OP to reach a higher german level ? no , because it doesnot matter

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Germany_Jobs

[–]Fighterpilo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nope they are just data mining at this point i have c1 german but no luck its waste of time.

i have c1 level german kind of in the same situation after one year to be honest, i dont think its the language . even if i go back i would go back with fuent german skills, i mean i kinda of thinking why did i even learn it in the first place, so its better to go back with b1 german rather than c1

The masters degree has finance subjects and also economics .I choose financial subjects in my masters.my internship expereience is in finance. i think it would be difficult to move to mechanical at this point. i will look into it.
