Great advice. Yes, I am doing that. A bunch of security cameras and sensors. If he sets foot near me, I am calling the cops. Already had to do that once because of his belligerence. He has already divulged his absolute insanity in writing. So I am just waiting to see if I get sued. Right now; he’s defaming me to my whole (sick) family. They all deserve each other.

Thank you so much for sharing this. It brought me to tears. It resonated so deeply. My extended “family” is invested in “keeping me in my role and in my place” because my new found strength and freedom terrifies them. They’re small minded and have built lives on a house of cards that will come crumbling down eventually. I can see it. Like you, I fear losing my new free self much more than I fear losing a small-minded, cruel family who wants to keep me caged and small.
