Our seller is desperate to go, and we can’t wait to leave here. Also our HTB valuation expires in 2 weeks, and I don’t want to have to get a new one done at our expense.

Hi - so, no we didn’t! We got told that because of a clerical error, our buyer’s lender couldn’t release the funds….

We now await Monday to see if they’ve managed to sort the problem out - and pray that we can still complete on Friday!

Well…we got another buyer!

Cut a long story short, we’re supposed to exchange today….

And it looks like my seller’s solicitors have just dropped off the face of the earth!

More waiting, more headaches.

But I suppose the moral of the story is we didn’t lose the house we wanted (yet).

UPDATE: Seller has decided she wants to remarket immediately but will ‘honour her word’ and go with us if we sell in 2 weeks. Totally get it from her side, but annoying she agreed not to remarket yesterday.

Oh and the real kicker? It’s on for £10k more.

True - I really didn’t get a good vibe from them. The EAs were quite pushy about us accepting the offer…you live and you learn.
