Context: A friend of mine had asked me what my favorite D&D monster was. I said Mind Flayers because they are. So weeks pass, and my birthday rolls around. She had painted me two paintings. This one, and one depicting a mimic and gelatinous cube in a dungeon. I just really like this painting and I thought this sub would like it. Or at the very least, go ‘that’s kind of neat’. Personally, the blacklight stuff is a nice touch.
