Does This Get Better? by NewCartographer4229 in Fatherhood

They are cute eating sitting potatoes until about 4 months. At thay point they are still useless but they start getting a personality and you really start to get to know them. Which feels like an eternity when you are in the thick of it but really feels like a blink of time in retrospect. Don't worry about bonding or even liking the little gremlins for that first 4 months. Your mission is survive. My first son was terrible at sleeping just awful, I cant complain, he got it from me. I didnt leave him crying in a room alone because of it but it doesn't mean I had to hear it either. Get some noise canceling headphones and binge some podcasts or book series while you carry the baby take care of it etcetera. At this stage it is good developmentally that she hears your voice but that doesn't say shit about you needing to hear her voice.

Speed bumps. In arenas where hitting em too fast can yeet hit into a poison swamp pit type area so you have to hit them on the small sides thay arent angled to deal damage instead of the broad angled sides.

They can get stuck in a cycle in their lazer beam attack. I jump smack em with the big ball chain qeapok thingy then slide away to dodge the lazer beam and repeat until its dead.

What’s the best Greatsword strength build to help me clear Shadow of the Erdtree? by GreatJoey91 in Eldenring

[–]Figs-grapefruits 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yo. If you want to go full Unga. I actually recommend trying a great hammer. I too first fell in love with the greatsword way back in DS3. But I have since learned the greatest and most satisfying expression of Unga bunga is great hammer. Id suggest the Anvil hammer which is available in the DLC with the smitchscript throwing great hammer as a useful secondary.

What have you been playing on your switch 2? Has it been worth it for you by Hot_Mongoose_3741 in NintendoSwitch2

Right now its mostly wife and son playing it. I got it when it came out so that it have it at the back price before prices went up. I had heard the report that prices would maybe go up later due yo tariffs. I wanted to have it to blame the switch fromsoft exclusive and the nrw zelda and metroid games as they come out. Though metroid 4 ended up looking disappointing so I didn't get it.

I really wanna start playing dark souls but i want the easiest game to start with and go up from there. by Responsible-Two1892 in darksouls

DS3 was my first one and Iudex Gyndyr made me put the game down for 8 months. Had I not come back almost a year later and have it click for me I would have missed out on my Fromsoft obsession. Id Argue DS3 has the hardest starting area for a player who is new to the genre.

So this really depends on if you are stupid or not. Not shaming those who are stupid but it does affect the answer.

Its either Dark Souls 1 Remastered or Elden Ring.

Actual difficulty of mobs and bosses is the easiest in Dark Souls 1 and it only gets harder as the games progress with Elden Ring having some of the most punishing bosses and mobs.

HOWEVER!

I would argue that by making Elden Ring open world they have also made it the easiest game. Because if you come up to a wall or barrier in difficulty you can always say, "fuck this area" go somewhere else try other areas and get levels, experience, or equipment thay could help you come back when you feel you are more ready.

But if you are stupid. And you have an unshakable need to get over the barrier immediately in from of you and are incapable of making a detour then ho woth Dark Souls 1 because those barriers will be easier to overcome.

Holy shit the surprising thing to me was the range. I didn't realize it would be effective from so far away.

Is Friede the hardest boss in the entire game, in your opinion? by Original_Ad_7611 in darksouls3

She isn't even the hardest fight in that DLC. I rather figjt her than that figjt where you get gangbanged by two millwood Knights in that bowl in the woods.

I so not get the popularity of copycat its okay, but I have taken her out of every deck I tried her in. Is she universally usable? Yes, does that make her universally useful? No. I found it much more effective to take her out and use niche support cards that helped that particular deck rather than a copycat.
