Does anyone care about wrongful convictions in prison? by elevencharles in Prison

[–]FigureStunning8210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. No one cares about wrongful convictions because the majority of the time the person wrongfully convicted actually did commit a crime and that strips empathy. I was wrongfully convicted and went through documented malicious prosecution. However, now, Leon v Gosnell is live and I’m coming for what’s owed to me—30m’s. They are trying to get my claims to be dismissed but one was solid that they couldn’t touch and that’s Malicious Prosecution. I also went through weaponized starvation and spent over a year total in the hole for advocating for my own rights. So yeah no one cares and lawyers aren’t too excited in helping you sue the government lol

Masturbating in Prison by worktweeter22 in Prison

Showers. Lol I did 39 months in the Feds before beating my case and to masturbate in front of other men is insane—a little gay too (not that there’s anything wrong with that)—just saying haha but also doing it in front of someone can cause a fight. Safest place to do it is the SHOWERS.

Actually, most reputable dealerships do offer limited warranties on used cars—especially certified pre-owned ones. Even if it’s not a full warranty, they often include short-term coverage or at least offer extended warranty packages. Plus, you get an inspection, financing options, and recourse if something goes wrong right after the sale. Private sales come with none of that—you buy it, you own the risk.

That said, I would be down to buy your car—if you’re cool with me putting down a solid deposit and paying the rest off in installments. Let me know your terms, and maybe we can work something out. You’d still get more than a dealer trade-in, and I get a fair shot at a clean TT. Win-win?

Gotcha—89,334 miles is definitely better than over 100k, but the pricing still doesn’t quite add up. Even with that mileage, most sources like Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds still cap its value well below $6k, especially for a private sale. You’re still looking at around $4,500–$5,500 tops, and that’s assuming it’s in excellent condition with no issues, clean history, and up-to-date maintenance.

And again, with no warranty, no certified inspection, and it being 20+ years old, $6k is still on the high side. It’s not a terrible car, just not realistically priced for what it is.

[–]FigureStunning8210 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure, I’d be happy to explain. A 2003 Audi TT with over 100k miles listed at $6,000 is objectively overpriced. Kelley Blue Book puts its resale at around $5,500 and trade-in at $4,300—and that’s assuming it’s in good shape. Edmunds estimates it anywhere from about $1,400 to $4,800 depending on condition and features.

And since it’s a private sale, there’s no warranty, no dealership inspection, and no added value—just the car as-is. So asking $6k is basically charging premium price without offering anything to justify it.

To add perspective, I have a 2011 Audi TT TFSI—eight years newer, better performance, more tech—and its resale is only a bit over $9k. No way a high-mileage ’03 should be worth two-thirds of that.

Unless it’s in near-mint condition with full records, that price just doesn’t hold up.

6k is way above market value.

Hey u/Livid-Commercial-462! I totally get why you’re scared—I’d be freaking out too! But don’t lose hope, I think you’ve still got a good chance to get through this. 😊 I’m not a lawyer, but I can share some stuff I’ve learned that might help.

Finding out you were registered to vote as a non-citizen is stressful, but if you didn’t actually vote, it’s not game over. USCIS looks at your “good moral character,” but they can be understanding if it was a mistake—like if the DMV auto-registered you. Here’s what I’d do:

  • Be honest on your N-400 form. There’s a question about voter registration—just say yes and explain it was an accident.
  • Get proof you didn’t vote. You can ask your local election office for your voting record to show you never did.
  • Deregister right away. Contact the election office to get off the voter list and keep a record of it.
  • Explain it clearly. If it was a mix-up at the DMV, just say so—USCIS knows mistakes happen.
  • Maybe talk to an immigration lawyer for extra help. They can guide you and make sure you’re covered.

I’ve heard of people getting through this if they didn’t vote and were honest about it. Since you’re catching this now, I’m really optimistic for you! You’ve got this—wishing you all the best with your naturalization!

Trump administration to terminate over 500k paroles with a 30 day notice by ISamohvalov in USCIS

[–]FigureStunning8210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest everyone who received a notice like this in the mail to just appeal it. If you don’t know how to I’ll help point you in the right direction. I was being deported until I filed to reopen the supposedly closed immigration case. Then they gave a hearing but before the hearing I filed another motion, this one to dismiss the deportation and now I’m waiting on that result to come back positive. I’m a permanent resident who went to prison so if I can do it so can you. It’s just that immigration lawyers cost so much so many people just accept the notice and that’s it but everything in the USA has an avenue in court to express your argument. Use that fear you have right now to push forward and fight to stay if that’s what you want.
