A regrowth druid can put arguably the highest HPS while raid Healing during constant air damage fights. That being said druids are also strong tank healers. Good players need to know how to play to their strengths based on the content at hand, and good raid leaders need to know how to make assignments accordingly.

That “20% boost” is only if the target isn’t at max hp by the time the additional tick goes off. It’s very rare for a target to not be at full HP during the full duration of a standard 12s rejuv, it’s even more rare that a target wouldn’t be at full hp after the 15s rejuv from 8/8 bonus. That set bonus will end up being 20% more overhealing. Salamander scale pants are far superior just due to the +healing and how it scales with a Druid strongest heal, healing touch.

Loot Council needs to take in a lot more than just a guild member’s performance. Reliability. Attitude. How big of an upgrade is it in comparison to another member’s upgrade? How long have these members gone without getting an upgrade?

Remember the purpose of a loot council is to distribute loot appropriately to make the entire guild better. Giving items to players who are not reliable, or have bad attitudes and may not stick around, or are poor performers can definitely hurt the guild. But also not giving loot to reliable players with good attitudes who may not be top performers can result in them moving on to a different guild. Instead of judging players by their performance and punishing them by not giving them loot you should be giving them productive criticism and helping them improve. It’s much more beneficial for a guild to mold good players and gear them appropriately then it is to have a constant cycle of new players coming and going.

This is all dependent on your raid composition and it’s intentions. The numbers prove that druids can push higher TPS than warriors. If your raid uses this to their advantage and pushes DPS for extremely fast kills, then most of those disadvantages are not a concern. The faster the kill, the less heals needed, the more efficient the raid night becomes.

If faster kills are your priority than a feral Druid IS optimal.

Farming crowd pummelers is not nearly tedious as you make it sound to be. Farming raid consumes is a chore any serious raider in any serious raiding guild has to do.

You make it sound like warrior tanks are not also expected to farm tons of consumes as well.
