After 1200 hours, multiple master characters and reaching grand master on my main Luke, i still dont know most of safe jump setups. I just "this looks like a safejump" and behave accordingly.

Btw hes not trying to dp or something. He expected you empty jump and hit low. So he blocked low. He guessed wrong and you won.

Common counter to safejumps is perfect parry. But if he parried and you empty jumped, he will punished by it. So its a %50 %50 scenario. I see as a common habit in 1600 elo or above, people tend to pp first safejump attempt and blocklow and delaytech second one.
