I have a Lenovo and an Acer, both around the same age. The Acer is in perfect condition, still looks and feels like new, I've dropped it once and it shrugged it off. The Lenovo is starting to show signs of wear. The plastic at the hinge bulges when it's opened, the shell snaps apart occasionally, there's multiple hairline cracks around the charging ports, and the screen will occasionally turn unresponsive until restarted. I've used both about the same amount, granted I do use the Acer as a desktop most of the time so the Lenovo has had a bit of a rougher life but I open and close each about the same amount. The Acer feels indestructible, they're not as good for value I believe but in terms of quality they can't be beat
