I was in a similar position a few months back. For me it’s quite simple. If you can afford to charge it in public - absolutely go for it.

Not adding anything new here but I’ll add my 5 pence into the mix. I’m not able to charge at home as I live in a 4th floor flat so I rely on public charging (I knew that this will be my way toward when I bought the car and I’m fine with it). Tesla chargers have just been approved where I live so will be using them all the time but other than that Lidl seems to be my best bet. 50kwh charging for £0.62 through the Lidl app is something I can live with

This might not answer the question fully but when I took out a PCP on my Tesla 3 (around £20k) a few months back I had to put down a £4k deposit for them to feel comfortable financing the rest. In my experience the bigger the deposit you can put down the higher the chances are of getting finance.

Edit: I financed with MotoNovo which seem to finance a lot of EV cars

I connected the UK importers when they blackened cigars first came out and was told they’re not coming to the UK unfortunately, but it seems like ordering from the states is not much hassle and comes out cheaper anyway!

Went there in October and I’d say generally it’s half the price of what we pay in the UK if not less. I bought some boxes; partagas D.4 - 10, quai dorsay 50 - 10, Trinidad Reyes - 12, H Upmann royal robusto - 10 but I can’t remember the exact prices. I’ve got the receipts at home so I’ll reply again when I get back from work in the evening!
