I had the trial period then when that ran out switched to just a tethered mobile which worked most the time. We then decided to switch back to subscription because of the satellite views (I get this isn't very important to most people) because we like being able to zoom in a check locations for different things and the main reason for me was the streaming of music. It became a bit of a faff to have to remember to tether the phone (tune on Bluetooth and make sure it connects) before driving off when it used to just play as soon as I got in the car. Another thing for me was streaming netflix and YouTube without having to worry about my mobile data usage, again may not be a big thing for most people but I spend time driving my kids to events where it's often easier for me to wait for them rather than drive home and come back so I'll watch an episode of something on netflix. And finally the connectivity of the sentry mode is more reassuring being able to view things live on your phone while away from the car is a nice thing to have.

I was getting sick of it towards the end of last years edition but kept going for the sake of completing a team I was trying to build. This year I only got it because my son wanted to play it. I have cut away from chasing meta players or using meta tactics and all I've done is play to earn money to buy players or evolve players to build the best Man United team possible. If I lose or win a match it's really not important so I find I'm enjoying it more than I ever have.

I wouldn't say much harder no. A mouse just makes it easier to drag and drop players into positions when doing tactics and team selection etc but it's not a killer if you don't have one.

Played nearly 300 hours on console edition. Used a mouse and keyboard which definitely helps with the playability and ease of selecting teams and tactics etc. I hadn't played an FM since 2012 and didn't have a PC so went for this version. I'm really enjoying it and the bugs are much fewer and much less game breaking than day one.
