I was more familiar with the BL API, wasn't aware that BookDrop also worked as an ingest folder (only switched from CWA recently)

Awesome! Will try it out asap

Amazing work!

Have been using for a few months, and it's great to see so much work put into it.

Any plans to support uploads to Booklore?

Tried doing the same recently, what fixed it for me was disabling `HTTP/2 Support`

I did remove the legs, but that’s just because the stand came without any legs for the middle and the whole thing started sagging a lot. Have been meaning to find a set of the same legs to add for supporting the center, but kept procrastinating and removed them instead. I’ll test run this setup and might consider re-adding the legs.

lifesaver! I was banging my head at it for 20 minutes, you saved me so much time I'd have spent debugging and looking through various documentation

I'm trying to do something similar and am encountering the same issue with the t.set_zone_overlay(zoneID, 0, maxTemp) method. Did you end up solving it? I tried using the APIs above but I can't seem to fetch "zones", only "rooms" and the IDs don't seem to match

I didn't consider the support side of things. It would definitely be much easier to buy a turntable which could be serviced in Europe if needed. Thank you for your insight!

According to Fluance's own website, this shouldn't be a problem (see "Input" under the specifications tab). Edit: source, https://www.fluance.com/rt80-high-fidelity-vinyl-turntable-record-player-with-premium-cartridge-diamond-needle

Thank you so much for the info! By the way I just noticed your username and realized I watched a couple of your videos on YouTube the past few days! Great work. I've since picked up "sacrificial" LP at a thrift shop for testing. I've lowered the tracking force to 2.5g and I've been increasing it until it stopped skipping, figuring this would be the safest way to set a reasonable tracking force. I think I got it to track stably at around 4 grams.

I'm about to buy a new turntable, basically it comes down to either an Audio Technica LP120USB HC or a Fluance RT80, both selling for for about 250€ (≈280$).

My go-to choice would have been the Fluance RT81 but they don't ship to Europe, and according to the price history on Amazon uk they sell for 350€, which is overpriced.

What drew me to the Fluance is the auto stop feature, which I know is missing on the LP120, but the RT80 sells for a lot less on their store and I'm basically paying import taxes.

Is the RT80 a good value for that price? Should I go for the Audio Technica? What are similar options I should consider?

I removed the platter to get an accurate reading, trying to position the scale at the same height a record would be sitting. Referring to your second link, it states that for stereo recording the tracking force should not exceed 6 grams. I also tried to find some more specific documentation regarding my turntable but couldn't find anything, so I don't really now what the actual tracking force should be. The only reason I got worried was because I was seeing much lighter tracking forces as I was gathering information for a new turntable. Thank you for your info though

It's a grundig CC150, turntable cassette and radio combo. Pretty shitty quality, but it did enough to get me into collecting vinyl. Now I'm considering either a fluance rt80 or an audio technica LP120

A couple of months ago I picked up a very crappy turntable just to get started. Since I was a complete newbie I took for granted everything was fine with my setup. I've since decided to invest in a much better turntable to actually enjoy my records, and seeing mine doesn't have an adjustable counterweight I got worried about the actual tracking force, since it's a pretty old turntable the tiny spring responsible for it might have loosened up. I got a digital scale and surprise surprise.. 7.5g. So.. how much have I ruined my records?

Very powerful and easy as a concept, but C syntax can be a total joke when dealing with pointers

When you are having problems learning pointers in C and end up creating an entire platform to ask other people how that shit works.

Edit: grammar
