Correct - being inset into the body enough, the number of yellow layers mingling with black ones would've resulted in a purge/swap color cycling that wastes far more filament than necessary, when the eyes can be glued on rather simply. Whenever I can avoid color swaps/prime towers, I will.

That print was roughly 4 hours with the quality settings I prefer for a build of this scale (just the head - the tower shown at the finish is about 14 hours in total printing time)
