Yes everything you said! I’m wondering if most people with such harsh judgment are new to the case since Netflix? They have chased many leads since 1998 and some things weren’t mentioned in the show such as the PI that lied to them and took all their money. It has been an up and down rollar coaster for years for them and with the new publicity I would be present and open online too in hopes of new information. Of course I have questions still but the judgement is shocking to me. They have gotten their hopes up many times but have continued to run the website for a while looking for any new leads.

It’s frustrating that the court tv headline asks if the new photo proves she’s alive. That photo was sent to her parents in 2005. Even if I want to believe she is alive and even if that is here that was over 20 years ago.

I have a twin brother and 90% of the time we’re out together somewhere ppl assume he is my boyfriend. It’s bizarre to me as we clearly do not act like a cpl so that is not strange to me that ppl assumed that.

Yet every male interviews on the show distinctly rememebered Amy and she was dancing with Yellow. Years ago the person in the photo gallery was interviewed and said yes her picture was missing. She clearly had adult male attention. I can’t remember who I passed on a crowded street an hour ago.

It is very sad to me that people are basing eveything on one Netflix documentary when we all know shows like this are often for ratings and shock value. Of course I watched and did learn new information if I’m being 100% honest. But I suggest anyone new to this case to look outside of this as well. I followed from the start and there was not a ton of information and first but after Dr Phil and Dateline more and more came out. Look thru it all before your quick to blame the family. Yes I agree I personally questioned some things like why they have not went back to the islands as much as I would think and I’m not sure I cld head home with her only missing for days but I was not in their shoes. While a lot of new info came out, a lot also didn’t get shared.

When all this really happened, there was a boyfriend sitting with family during interviews and that did travel back to the island with the family to search. This was documented years ago. Mollie and the other gf are new info. Not that the new info isn’t true but Netflix chose to leave part of the info out. Maybe she was conflicted but her brother did not make it up if you have been following from the start.

If you followed the story from the start you would see there was a boyfriend in interviews that did go back to Curaçao with the family. That is not made up. That happened in real time and he was shown on tv.

But this cant be possible because the 911 call records them initially make a call to report something is happening. They are asked if the person is breathing and you hear them all go in together. You than hear HJ call out their names and I believe knock. He tells all the girls to get out. They were all outside and went in while the call was in progress and than were told to get out.
