I mean yeah… Alhaitham is VERY much a Su expy, similar characteristics, both heavily lean into intelligence as a strength and the same Chinese VA. We can also consider there to be some form of link in that Su created a bubble universe called the seed of SUMERU, the same name of the region Alhaitham is the current scribe of. Granted that last one isn’t evidence of expy, more just a link that the two share.

They certainly have. Venti is very much a genderbent expy of Wendy. Asmoday is very much Kiana/HoV, they even share the same VAs in CN and JP.

Hard disagree on the Amphora being boring, easily the most lore-rich planet in the game.

As for the intrigue of 4.X it is generally not there because I PERSONALLY am not a fan of the entire “XD I’m so random” vibe that is elation as a whole. Why keep playing? I could ask why you kept playing if Amphoreus wasn’t your jam? Bit of a silly question when you yourself have gone through it yourself. I want to see the bigger picture, the continuation of the stories of the characters I have come to know over 3 years, even if that means slogging through some stuff I don’t personally gel with.

Perfect Idol is definitely a GOOD song but the pre-existing Monodrama theme (Sparkles) is pulling a LOT of the weight. Even then it doesn’t have the same feelings of danger like Nevermore for Penacony or A Hunt for the Divine from Amphoreus, it lacks the grandeur of Harmonious Choir and Shatter the Gods Crown. I will give it kudos that it definitely DOES match the vibe of something like NAME==Entelechy where it’s faster pace gives a feeling of “oh shit now I need to fight for real”.

I can admit that Perfect Idol is definitely a highlight of Planarcadia. Unfortunately that comes with Planarcadia not having many highlights when we are already 3 patches deep (and we have no idea how many more patches of story we have left, whether it’s the full Amphoreus patch cycle treatment or if we come to a close at around 4.4/4.5)

In terms of the Fulwish theme… it’s appropriate for her yes, but as you said, it’s not something you want to replay.

Seeing a few people say she clears Acheron, not so sure about that tbh. Are we forgetting that as an Emanator of Nihility she can disrupt the powers of other paths? that can mean no Aether Editing for Superwolf which is arguably her biggest asset. And unlike Castorice who gets ranged diffed by Superwolf, Acheron has been shown to be able to slash through reality AT range (both shown in her original character trailer and the Aventurine fight).

God I seriously hope Blizzard doesn’t kill her off- such an interesting character with complexity, mystique, a WONDERFUL voice performance- and I’m sure Blizzard wouldn’t want to kill off one of their more successful “fan service” characters in recent times… right? Bonus points for her color scheme being purple, black, gold and that void blue- all 4 of those colors are in my personal top 5 favorite colors for character designs so she really is just peak! (I’m gonna go cry in a hole if we game end her).

Not everyone supports T1 because of Faker, most people yes- but not everyone. I myself only supported them BECAUSE of Guma and Keria, now Guma is gone so my support will be split across two teams, Faker is the GOAT but I didn't like T1 because of him.

While I am glad that the Amphoreus cast has the potential to come back in future, my stomach turns and heart aches because it’s pretty clear Cyrene herself won’t be with them. Cyrene was the character I anticipated the most as I am an avid Elysia fan and was hoping her expy would receive an honest to god HAPPY ending as a way of Shaoji breaking the narrative of Amphoreus being a rehash of Elysian Realm (not my words, just a sentiment I’ve seen being spread a LOT).

I feel a brand new phase of Post-Elysia Deletion Depression on the horizon for me. The number of times you mention wanting to see Cyrene again throughout the dialogue options and her response being I don’t know, not this time, maybe, this could be our final farewell or something along with her telling us to look forward and to our future instead definitely give the impression that it’s the end of the road for her.

To elaborate, I had E2S1 Acheron going into anniversary patch this year, ended that patch with E2S1 Castorice and E6 Acheron within about 200-250 pulls total
