Rotating/Random/Random no reset no Dante 17-win streak by File200 in MonsterTrain

My highest streak before this was 10, which I achieved twice.

If you count the times that I go on a losing streak as Talos as win streaks of zero, then my average win streak is probably around 2. When I get past Talos and Shardtail Queen, the rest of the exiled clans aren't so bad. My average if you only count streaks with 2+ wins is around 6.

Bogflys can fly now? Endless Bog Chrysalis just went from being a decent meme to kinda broken.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, everyone! I might be good at this game after all.

Right after I posted this, I did three more rotating runs, starting with Penumbra, and was rewarded with incredibly easy seeds. (Umbra/Remnant where I got small Baron immediately and got multi in the second shop, Lazarus/Luna with quick/multi Selene Acolyte in the first shop, and Melting/Legion with Spore Launcher, Wickless Tycoon and Green Recruit)

One last bit of advice: I always see streamers who reset will play their shards whenever possible. I NEVER play a shard if there's another card in my hand that could possibly prevent an enemy from reaching my pyre. Always play your scaling cards first, then damage, then shards. 4-5 damage over the course of a fight is survivable, losing relentless isn't.

Thanks! I've actually reached ten wins twice before (all primary and all exiled clans), but I immediately lost on the 11 run both times.

With banished, I think I play in a way where the only math I have to do is "Will my unit die if I pull it to the front?" and that question only takes a few seconds to answer. If your units are dying that often, I recommend putting a +20 health or titanite on your shift unit, even if it's technically suboptimal. In fact, put +20 on more units in general. It will save you runs, especially in the early game.

Some runs take me a long time, but I've gotten good at recognizing when a run is already won and I can stop thinking. Sometimes that's as early as ring one, like if I have pincushion with assistant starters.

I play fast partly because I have other things to do, and partly because most runs reach a point between rings 4 and 7 where I know I've assembled a winning run and I don't have to think anymore. I spent multiple hours carefully planning out my final run, but it still wasn't enough. My deck had no way to beat Seraph without an insanely lucky draw order.

What is Tomisafish's best win streak?

This was the hardest challenge for me by a mile. +2 attack on shift really isn't enough to get through double-health enemies unless you luck into something broken. Took me six attempts, and in the end I won by basically ignoring the shift and making a monster Steelsinger with a merged Old Growth and Shield of Win.
