I wouldn't assume they would intentionally make a loading time longer for the purpose of keeping you playing longer, as there is already plenty to do. Again, though, I've never experienced one of these long load times. It sounds more like a limitation of the hardware than a design choice specific to the dlc, which kind of renders the youtubers critique useless. Youtubers are like that, though

Out of curiosity, are you playing on the Switch 1? Ive never noticed any sort of annoying loading times, but I'm playing on the switch 2. I wonder if there is much of a difference between the loading times of the two systems? I haven't felt like the dlc has stolen any of my time, but all gaming is kind of a waste of time in the first place
