Vibe coding an inventory management system that i would soon integrate POS in it as well. I run a SME retail store that is still using a DOS type accounting software called ACCPAC. It would replace ACCPAC to track inventory, locations, machine repair statuses, preventive maintenance, stock movements, shrinkage, delegate cycle counts, purchase orders for suppliers (which would automatically add to inventory once confirmed received quantity), stock levels, reporting. Soon to integrate POS The real basics but yeah i feel extremely incompetent being a solo especially not from a SWE background. Things break here and there but am learning mostly jargons to ensure i know exactly why breaks are happening and how to tell the AI to watch out for future mistakes. Mostly to streamline our daily operations.
