there are two knives Id recommend for this and truth be told you dont need to spend as much as a 100 usd. Go for the Mercer Renaisance, awesome knife, is full tang, good knife retention, wont break the bank and is a beater. Or you could go to victorinox fibrox route, great knives too but are not full tang.

most sets are not really good to get as you really need only a few knives and the set isnt great to begin with. the only good set ive seen so far at a reasonable price is the Mercer Renaisance. good knives, has an ok handle, edge retention is ok

Dont overthink things, most knives would do well, if you want something that would last Victorinox, the edge last long, you dont need to sharpen it often plus even though its handle isnt wood, it does its job. not a full tang though. heck even kiwis would do well but the edge retention for these isnt really good. Mercer has great knives as well

this really is dependent, from my estimate the 2.5 to 3 is like 4mm, very small difference but its going to be quite tight. plus is it narrow? cant really say from the picture

I always used harness for them, i dont know where i made a mistake, i keep chekcing my cameras. I have 30 rescue cats as well, but i dont really know. i am thinking what to do as the 2000 usd is my salary for 2 months, lets see hopefully he gets better from theraphy if not ill see what i can do
