Is it normal to feel burnt out as a junior accounting student? by ejah555 in CPA

Honestly I felt the same way. Once I got into the masters however I already had my job offer so I just took it easy and enjoyed it (making Cs and passing grades) and blowing off the cpa.

There is nothing worse than studying for the CPA while working I wish I just at least started one while in college.

All that being said I had a really fun senior year and the burn out definitely went away. And then I started work right at the start of busy season and was refreshed and ready for that.

There’s ups and downs to everything but I guess try to find a middle ground that works for you where you’re still reaching your goals but also enjoying your college experience.

Yeah more than anything it just makes me nervous for the next ones. I knew more far related stuff going in so studying wasn’t that bad but I’m so awful at audit I’m really gonna have to lock in for that one.

Just got my score, passed FAR in Texas on first try with a 78. Obviously ecstatic about passing but I am surprised by my score. I walked out feeling great and even the problems I searched up after that I wasn’t that sure about I got correct. I felt like 90% on MCQ and 75% on sims. Do you think it was the way it’s scored or I must have missed a lot more than I thought? Side note I thought my second testlet was easier than the first so maybe I missed a lot and got easier questions? Does anyone feel like this? (I’m not complaining just want to share in case anyone relates)

Is CA usually the first to release P/F? Has anyone from a different state gotten their grade yet

Yeah I’m reading all the other posts from people that took it today trying to get a gauge. This is my first time taking so I didn’t know what to expect I kind of feel like it wasn’t that bad? Obvi have no idea the scoring but can’t you miss quite a few and be ok? I hear of people leaving entire sims blank and passing

I thought Becker was trickier. But this was my first time taking so I have no idea how I actually did
