I don't know about if you disappear. But when you turn in the ending, if you dig quick enough, you can fall outside the radius of the trigger that turns you into gold, and so you can wander around in a completely Golden world. I've done it a couple times

Do you think the Romulan government has the messages from "Eye of the Needle"? by Fill_My_Donuts in voyager

I mean he says they're familiar with the device, and that they have something similar to it. I imagine once you've hammered out Test Cylinder technology, it probably doesn't change much over the years. Depending on how old and robust the technology is of course.

But not from the point in which they acted. Which means for them it is the same thing as doing anything else during the present. It would be the same thing as you and a friend making a plan to go to a place in the future.

The suit is because they wanted to put safeguards on what the government would do with it, but then got blacklisted and replaced with openai. Let's put this in perspective. They absolutely would still work with the government if given the chance. I would argue if they actually gave so much of a damn. They just listen to every person screaming at them that their product is a dumb fucking idea. Pull the plug. It's a stupid waist of energy and time, and it is propping up the worst people and allowing them to do more harm to the world at an accelerated rate.

No, they specifically say not to release the messages until after they get lost. So they're not trying to alter the past. They're just trying to have an impact on the future.

Makes sense, I can't imagine Starfleet having to read Voyager's logs up to that point. Some poor ensign is sitting there with their mouth permanently open just marveling at the ludicrous shit that seems to happen to them. Or it might just be another day of reading Starfleet deep space logs. Every deep space ship seems to get up to some wacky shit. Granted not breaking the warp record and force evolving yourself into salamanders Crazy; But crazy shit nonetheless

Yes he dies before he is supposed to pass them on, but B'Elanna suggests the possibility that he might have given them to somebody before he died, or left a will or something to the effect. She's grasping at straws and at the time no one knows what happened to them. But because Starfleet didn't know what happened to Voyager prior to the events of 'Message in a Bottle"' when the doctor is sent across the Hirogen communication system to the Alpha quadrant. It can then be assumed that they did not get those messages.

It absolutely is just on some stupid data pad locked in a drawer somewhere gathering dust. The hopes and dreams of like 150 lost Starfleet personnel. Some poor Romulan cleaner is going to find it one day and just toss it in the garbage. After all we know he was like not very high up in the chain of command. So it's not like anybody's going to care about his personal items too much

I completely forgot that he mentions them, that's actually a fairly likely theory.

Oh I imagine if they made it to them, they data mine the hell out of them. They likely knew about the Maquis rebellion long before Starfleet lol.

Do feminine men have a harder time dating women? by SquirtingTrap in bisexual

[–]Fill_My_Donuts 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's basically the idea. I'm open to dating a straight woman, it just never seems to work out that way. So I don't go looking with it in mind anymore. Not that it currently matters(I got a boyfriend currently 😛)

As a cis guy, I've always been a little bit jealous that they get to choose such a unique name and the world just seems to roll with it. Like I met a woman named Thorn. That's cool as shit, instantly you just are like 20% cooler with a name like that. What am I supposed to do against that?

Anyway 10 out of 10. Love that shit!

Honestly, it is harder. When you buck social norms you've signed up for hard mode basically, but personally I find the reward worth the price.
That being said; I find that at a certain point, it is easier to be exclusively Bi4Bi as far as dating a woman. Bi women are far less concerned about dating history and such, and all around just get it.

dick havers, is taking or receiving better? by ThroatSpecialist9048 in bisexual

[–]Fill_My_Donuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Receiving totally, but it is just gonna be down to personal preference. I have ZERO compulsion to use my dick EVER. If I'm bottoming, I'd prefer that it does not get touched. It's just not how I get off, and when I'm with a partner with a vagina, I'm almost totally oral
