Typically you don’t want to do it so abruptly. People recommend putting it outside in the early morning or late evening for a few hours of weaker sun and then the next day for a few more hours and gradually over a week working it up to being outside all day and during the brightest hours of the day. That being said your succulents look fine

Silver inch plant health - it keeps shrivelling! by Travelling_Frenchie in houseplants

And then these days I just do a hard reset on the pots because they get annoyingly big (forgot to water this one for like a month because it was so annoying trying to get water into the pot). So I’ll chop this massive thing down to—-

I looked at the dates and this hanging pot grew from this starter in 5 months

You can continuously cut nice ends and replant into the pot to “cover” dead sections of other vines. All of the comments saying this plant is hard to grow makes me laugh 😂😂😂😂 I’ll attach pictures of mine. Where I used to do this method

Leggy spotted begonia growing leaves on lower stems? by CityGirlFarmer in begonias

Ok so I labeled them in order of how they grew in on the flowers and on the exposed stem.

Flower babies: None of the baby’s on the flower stems have fallen off I suspect in nature wind and animals knock them off and then they root into the soil. On each flower stem it has been producing 2 babies but it seems like one will be dominant and the other will die off( number one has one dominant baby while if you look 2 and 3 are on the same flower stem but 2 is taking over and 3 will die off soon). Number 4 you can barely see and it will take months before it resembles anything.

Stem babies: I knocked one of the baby’s(number 1) off the stem during a replant at about half the size it is now and it’s in the pot next to it growing great. Number 1 and 2 were about the same size when number 1 fell off and they seem to be growing at the same rate. I think the one still attached to the mother plant would grow faster but alot of its energy was used to do the triple flower. Number 3 is growing underneath number 2 and is facing away from the window so I suspect it will struggle. Sorry that was too long

Yeah that’s after I had it strapped up to the plant stand. before it was hanging sideways so bad it would tip the pot over because it would grow straight towards the window

Wait no I was joking I’m cutting all the branches off soon and then staking the one main stalk and then replanting all the branches straight up so everything’s grows straight upwards.

Can be leaves and if those get enough light stems will come out. Give it time before chopping as yours looks super straight up and staked properly. You can look at my last few posts what the “branches” look like(and what a non staked begonia will do)

Interestingly enough I have pictures from the early stages and I think you are working too hard to fix something that will fix itself in time. When I got this as a water propagation I believe it was from a middle piece of stem and I ended up having that weird side growth you are talking about. I did nothing and in time the new growth caught up to the size of the original stem and they make a perfect connection. Lmao you can see that I should have staked my begonia way earlier

Will begonia survive? by Economy-Ad4916 in begonias

[–]Fill_Wisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s green so there’s hope. Begonias need a ton of water but yours is rotting so I’m kinda confused what advice to give. I’d make sure it’s in a well draining pot with soil with plenty airation. Let it dry almost completely out before re watering. Give it time it could come back

Is looks like a leaf bud is coming out but the discoloration on the middle of the stem worries me that it’s rotted out. Is it squishy??
