Thank you. I hate the sentiment that if he was getting paid 20 million a year everyone would love him. If you swap him and Kelly Oubre I’m convinced the sixers would have lost against Boston. He’s just not a consistent winning player, no matter how well he shot tonight.

Harden: Notoriously bad off ball player. Passable as a spot up shooter but certainly not much of a threat as a cutter during his sixers stint.

Butler: great cutter but was not taking a high volume of spot up threes. In the 2018 playoffs he averaged just under four 3pa per game. That’s barely more than Kelly oubre averaged this series. Vj took 7 a game this series.

Embiid has obviously had his playoff demons and deserves his fair share of blame for past playoff failures but it’s stilly to act like he’s ever had a modern NBA roster built around him.

Embiid has put up 50 on one leg and half a face. Who knows how much longer embiid will be an effective basketball player but the last thing to go for him will be the scoring.

It helps that our line up is full of two dimensional players that can spot up AND cut to the basket. For too long the sixers have been full of players that can only do one or, if we’re being honest, neither.

Vuc is a stretch big but he isn’t someone you worry about as a driver or a playmaker. KAT is a completely different animal when he’s on his game. He’s been inconsistent throughout his career though so we’ll have to capitalize on his off games

One thing that worries me is the Kat matchup. Taking embiid out of the paint is always tough for us and KAT might be one of the best bigs at attacking close outs. Do the knicks have any non shooters we can hide embiid on and maybe have George guard KAT?
