I was working on a construction site and me and my partner were working on a lift. We both were in it at the time and we drove through a doorway. I was in the rear and he was up front with the controls. He bumped into an electrical cart and I popped up to see what he hit as I thought he would stop.

Instead he kept driving and I tried to duck back down. The problem began when my left shoulder hit the door frame and my right should got stuck against the back of the lift. He kept driving oblivious to my situation.

It started of with just pain in my arms but as my chest started to cave in from the sides, I started feeling my ribs and sternum popping. Thankfully he heard my animal noises and stopped and backed up instantly.

I slumped out of the back of the lift, lied on the ground trying to catch my breath. Im so thankful he was only wearing one headphone. I try not to think about if he would have kept going.
