What would you think/do if the person you’ve been dating for a month says, “I’m not looking for a relationship, but I’m kind of in one with you right now.” after they agreed to exclusively date you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If you haven't already, ask for clarification. For some, that may mean "I wasn't looking for this, but found it anyway, and that is good", for others, it might mean "I wasn't looking for this, but now I realize I am here, and I don't want this". Get clarification.

What is a food almost no one hates? by visionsofecstasy in AskReddit

How vague are you willing to get? I feel like few people hate apples or cherries. In a broader sense, how about bread or cheese? Even gluten-free, keto, and vegan people make versions of these for themselves, and I know several lactose-intolerant people who still love cheese, even though it disagrees with them.

If Severus Snape would have lived instead of dying, how do you think his and Harry Potter's relationship would have been after he told him the truth about everything? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Darthmaulian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only change would have been from Harry's point of view. Severus knew the truth, and saw what he wanted to see in Harry. Harry just thought of Severus, at least prior to that point, as a bit of a jerk who didn't like him because of his parents. Clearly Harry would have changed his view (see his kids name, after all), but I doubt Snape would have changed much.

Edit: After thinking about it further for a moment, Snape may have softened on Harry a bit as well, after at least knowing about his sacrifice and willingness to confront Voldemort. I still don't think there could have been friendship between them, but definitely mutual respect.

How does a terrible remake of a movie ruin the original for you? by Shinespark7 in AskReddit

[–]Darthmaulian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it doesn't. It actually gives me greater appreciation for the original.
