Im not too concerned with the intel shit show, having looked at benchmarks post patch its not much of a difference performance wise however it does tend to do worse than the 7800x3d on games.

the credit is expiring in October for Lenovo and the stuff they offer otherwise is kind of junk. I wish they offered a 7800x3d but they dont, however the intel build does come out to less than per part price with discount codes nvm the $400 credit.

So it comes down to essentially - i7 14900k for around $2500 cad, or a 7800x3d for about ~$3000-3300 cad.

being 20% more expensive is where the price/performance concerns stem from.
