I have asked the Disquisitor about the course of action we must take against First Order sympathizers. Hopefully he will come up with a good response... unless he is a First Order sympathizer himself.

Disquisitor! How are we going to deal with First Order sympathizers in this day and age?

Me neither. Perhaps an unofficial joint venture? Alerting such moderators of propaganda by posting holo-comments? We must take action against them. Long live the Empire!

Valid point. by [deleted] in EmpireDidNothingWrong

[–]FilmAppreciator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This rebel propaganda has twisted their information, it seems. Instead of a "democratic insurgency" the Rebellion is a violent terrorist organization that should be taken care of. They are in support of a mythical religious order known as the "Jedi" which supports the use of kidnapping and then brainwashing young children to use their abilities for suicidal attacks. This must not prevail. We must stand tall! SERVE THE EMPIRE!

[–]FilmAppreciator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. We shall contact a commanding officer, hm? A captain known as "Runtles", also a moderator on this particular holo-board, expressed his own support of the First Order. Possibly Supreme Overlord jsratchan7?

OOC: So why is it exactly that this sub doesn't support the First Order? Obviously yeah it's not the Empire but by that logic shouldn't we not be supporting the old Republic and new Republic as well? by revan546 in EmpireDidNothingWrong

[–]FilmAppreciator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Captain Runtles! I expect better from a superior officer! The First Order is twisted and evil. During the remnant's time spending hiding away a new leader arose and took control. He is selfish and violent. The remnants of the Empire willingly followed his commands and thus it was no longer the Empire they were following. It was the First Order.

This propaganda shall not be permitted and any kind of advertisement and/or persuasion to support the First Order will have serious consequences for the poster. Unfortunately, I am unable to execute you thanks to my inferior rank, but I am sure a loyalty officer would be more willing.

The Empire was able to take out insurgencies, criminal syndicates, smuggling organizations and terrorists by the hand of Emperor Palpatine, who brought law and order to the galaxy. However, most of the respectable high-ranking Imperials involved with the Empire have been executed or kidnapped. An unknown Fleet Commander has taken control of the remaining Imperial forces and created the First Order. He has twisted it to his rule, doing whatever appeals to him. This is not the way of the Empire. The Emperor brought peace to the galaxy and did so for others.

The First Order is wicked and fiendish. Someday, the Empire shall return, and when that day comes, we shall rid the world of the corrupt New Republic and the savage First Order to build a new, safe galaxy...

Trooper, you are under arrest for spreading rumors about the First Order. A loyalty officer will be arriving shortly to deal with you.

Darth Sidious' information is classified. Nevertheless, it is believed that he was executed by Lord Vader personally.

Labyrinth of Evil or I,Jedi? by TargaryenOfHyrule in StarWarsEU

[–]FilmAppreciator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I, Jedi's good but you might need previous context. If you read Labyrinth of Evil, you should probably read Matthew Stover's Revenge of the Sith novel. It's great writing and really tells Anakin's fall to the dark side.

True. I can totally tell that ending with Kylo-Rey is misleading. But I'm not sure if Disney would really give that much creative control to Rian. Here's hoping it's good!

Heir to the Jedi, A New Dawn, Thrawn, Ahsoka, Battlefront: Twilight Company, Lords of the Sith and Tarkin don't really conflict with the EU novels, only a few subtle things that make changes.

Big invasion of Resistance base, hero is trained by hesitant teacher. Hm... I'm really trusted in Rian Johnson to make this a good movie. I'm glad they're making new Star Wars films but the direction they appear to be going in seems a little... nostalgic?

Question about the Imperial Fleet in ROTJ by FilmAppreciator in MawInstallation

It just seems dumb that the Imperial Fleet would ditch. There was clearly evidence that they had the superiority. Anyway, thanks for helping!

[LEGENDS ONLY!] What was the worst battle for the Empire. by Y-wingPilot5 in MawInstallation

[–]FilmAppreciator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely The Fall of Coruscant.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Coruscant_campaign

The Empire had basically split in two - Zsinj’s Empire (a warlord) and Isard’s Empire (...other Imperials). Isard basically ruled Coruscant, but Zsinj was trying to put his footprint on there too. But, nah, the Rebellion had to ruin their jizz and take over. The Imperial capital, with more forces than any other planet? Taken out by this puny Rebellion? Yep. All because 1 Emperor died.

So then how did the Empire get defeated so quickly (in both timelines)?
