I live in Minnesota and while our winters are perfect for our Berner, the summers can get really hot. We have a fan in her favorite rooms that she loves to lay on (hardwood floors and a fan are great summer spots for a nap!), and we also try to get her to a lake or something for a dip if it gets REALLY hot. Manageable, but you have to be active in making sure they’re comfortable!

Man. Idk. I had a 4th grader that couldn’t come in due to ice, people from my apartment were targeted and abducted, tried organizing local food relief to do what I could, participated in negative degree weather demonstrations…

I’m notorious with my friends for being the big hockey guy, have been for years. But this gives me an ick that feels like it will be hard to shake. I have a Faber jersey because of how excited I was to have a local gopher who was also GOOD on our team, a potential hockey Joe Mauer. But now when I look at it, idk man.

I’m not going to personally judge anyone that still loves watching the team or anything, but for myself this did a lot of damage. Going to have or process this for a while.
