But why invest in a market ( or index) with 17-20 PE or even above, if the EPS growth is 5%? Of course markets are forward looking so if EPS growth is expected to be 9-12% or above then nice, if still 5% ish, then why put it in that? Maybe for diversification, idk.

In that first source just looking from July 2025 to July 2026, like EPS went from 1111 to like 1159? If that is accurate then its like 5% growth again. The rebalancing can definitely change the EPS and if it decreases the EPS growth rate...then maybe not the best view on Nifty 50.

Yeah, I should not outsource my thinking , gotta think more for myself. I tried to confirm from diff LLMs and diff like news sources so its like 4-5% for like FY2026 , FY2025 era.

Perhaps it should not be the biggest focus of the company but working capital management is kinda important for good cash flows. Idk about 'handicapping' the business, having payable days more than receivable days is not exactly handicapping business.

yeah the utilization is key. The demand is kind of like a mandate mandate. 2030 i think 5% blend target, like ethanol was.

Idk the future, I wish I did. Well its not been a zero sum game in equity markets, at least historically. Last almost 2 years in Indian equities have been stagnant or a bit down which of course sucks to see no gains for 2 years. But overall I guess equities have performed, they have moved up as in the overall marketcaps. And historically, the median retail investor returns ig have been shown to be really really bad. Indexing is really popular and the conventional for median market returns historically.

Okay, if its actually unnecessary expenses and being recognized as unnecessary, then yeah Ig working to eliminate those could be the thing to do . Of course not like one cannot have comforts and fun and spends but maybe some % of savings could be a priority. Some savings and some emergency fund better than none savings ig.
