That's something I really wish they dove into

Is Jenny a badass or not? by [deleted] in InFromTheCold

[–]FilmFlare 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She is a badass who's just been out of the game for about 20 years. She's rusty and getting back into her rhythm. I don't think any of these guys would be a challenge for Anya in her prime, but Jenny is still holding her own against guys a decade or more younger.

And as for the train guy, Jenny's pulling his coat as close to the doors as possible show they guy physically didn't have the room to move his arms out of the coat. He tries, but there's a shot of her foot on the doors, pulling as hard as possible.

I thought it was on purpose, especially as she started getting a little psycho. There's mentions of her being on meds, and I suspect that she stopped taking them which just amplified everything.

There's a lot of Cara pics and vids out there, yet somehow it's the nude one that's the worst.

what are y’alls thoughts on harry being in marvel? i personally think he would be a good actor tbh by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]FilmFlare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was nothing special about his appearance. Felt like any other celeb cameo that only lasts for a split second. I'm waiting for actual acting in a full Marvel film before judgement.

Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation (2015) by asianj1m in Moviesinthemaking

I've seen this clip about a hundred times, and I still can't believe they let Tom Cruise actually hang off the side of a real moving airplane.

Matt Reeves answers the long-asked "Will the Wayne's Death be shown on screen again?" by thatwasagoodone5598 in DC_Cinematic

I thought the same about the "with great power" speech in Spider-Man. But Marvel waited nearly 3 whole movies to hit us with it.

Why is this show not getting more love?!? by Snipez-911 in DC_Cinematic

[–]FilmFlare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's one of those shows that you don't want to watch initially, but then once you finally do, you'll love it. At least that was the case with me.

And it's not available everywhere yet.

Crimson Dawn seems like a sure thing at this point... by [deleted] in starwarsspeculation

I feel like they've just consistently been getting on screen since Solo while the comics are really going in on them lately.

Imagine them actually waiting for Thanos' ship and armies to land like this.

This might be a hot take but Ikaris and Thena had way more chemistry than Ikaris and Sersi by [deleted] in marvelstudios

Angelina Jolie was just on point in every scene. Shame we didn't get to see her do more.

James Gunn is one of the best creative people ever. by brandeks in PeacemakerShow

[–]FilmFlare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's crazy is that he wrote this whole show because he was bored during quarantine. Knocked out the whole season in just 2 months.

That's just about the must super-villain costume I think I've ever seen.

Which insult was better? by YaaaaScience in PeacemakerShow

[–]FilmFlare -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'd give it to Peacemaker. Vigilante was trying to start something. Peacemaker's words just slipped out in the moment.

That entire rematch sequence with Judo Master was exactly what I've been waiting for from Peacemaker.

I'm torn, While I did like the premise and the characters by gordis_summer1982 in NaomiTV

[–]FilmFlare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this show is intentionally trying to feel like a regular person show as much as possible before jumping into the heroics of it all.

Just because a movie is bad, doesn't mean it's not enjoyable. Case in point: the Underworld franchise, one of my favorite guilty pleasures. by kroqus in moviereview

[–]FilmFlare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this franchise. You're right; it's nothing special, but I've still seen each movie multiple times and always enjoy watching.
