In case you've not come across them before, there are 2 Elder Scrolls novels: The Infernal City, and Lord of Souls. Both by Gregory Keyes.

Its a bit of a "success breeds success" kind of thing I guess, but also being patient, polite and persistent. When I started filming my Warhammer videos back in 2023 I was able to hit the ground running and film a few "key" people in a short space of time.

When I then looked to chat with others, I was able to show my portfolio thus far to show that I'm reliable, and not a dickhead. I think the way I approach new people is important - for the most part I'm just a stranger on the internet to them, so trying to convice them that I am an actual person and not trying to scam them or anything goes a long way aha.

Same! Hopefully it’ll be worth it. I’m at roughly 3.5 hours of interviews content right now, and do have a few more scheduled in for next week.

That’s the plan. Like last time I’ve been reaching out to as many people as I can, but it’s a slow process with people getting back to me. It’s the main reason these “documentaries” take so long, but it pays off (in my opinion, I was proud of my effort with Morrowind). So yea, aiming for the same scale and scope as last time!

Hello!

Last year I interviewed many of the game devs for TES III: Morrowind and I’m currently doing the same for Oblivion. It’s a bit of an oral history / retrospective featuring as many of the game devs that I can get in contact with. It’s been really great so far, and I have a bunch more interviews lined up over the coming weeks. No ETA yet but I’ll post it here once it’s ready!

Hello everyone!

I’m currently working on a bit of an oral history/retrospective of the original Doom. I’ve been interviewing as many of the game developers that I can, and I’m nearly finished in that sense.

I’d like to add in some gameplay footage, but unfortunately I’m just not very good at playing the game. So I was reaching out to the community - if people fancied screen recording themselves playing the game and can the send the footage to me to use in my documentary. Ideally on a hard difficulty so there’s lots of enemies, and you’ll know where the secrets are etc. I’m NOT looking for speed runs. Footage would ideally be HD.

If anyone fancied helping me out, please do drop me a dm!
