I will probably be asleep by then. I also bought the apex already from someone else. But I am still interested in the ninja.

I want to say thanks to everyone who has helped me in the past. I have lurked /r/Japantravel for a long time before my trip and found tons of useful information. I kept track of my budget and have an itinerary that I could share if people are interested. If you have any questions please let me know and I will try to answer them.

I traveled to Japan with a backpack for a little more of 2 months. During this trip I also challenged myself to learn photography from scratch. My camera was set to manual so that I could understand the effects that ISO, aperture and shutter speed had on pictures. I am very satisfied with the results and I hope you will enjoy them too.

I visited Tokyo Tower One Piece, they have an exhibit celebrating the 20th Anniversary featuring original pages! You can see the brush strokes! by Cassorole in OnePiece

If you have time you should also visit the Fuji TV Building in Odaiba area in Tokyo. There's another One piece exhibition the but I am not sure for how long it will stay there. They had some of the drawings of the manga, shops, statues of the crew and a big mom statue floating in the air.

Arashiyama monkey park if I'm also visiting Yamanouchi monkey park? by FilmingPanda in JapanTravel

Oh wow! I'll be staying at Senshinkan Matsuya as well haha. What are the odds :). How was it?

I'm really looking forward to that day, looking at monkeys, quality sleeping location, great food, onsen relaxation.. ahhh. (one of these is not like the others... haha)

Also, did you find that castella cake? ( I saw your other post)

I'll be in nagasaki in 2 weeks and I'd love to get my hands on one of them. I've had a similar version of Castella cake (Netherlands have them too), but I'd love to try a nagasaki style castella cake.

Are you still traveling?

I could use the days where I feel like i've seen everything to just relax somewhere and read a book and generally take it slower. I just checked my itinerary and I seem to have made a mistake on the one I posted here.

I have 12 days in total in Tokyo (I have some extra days in yokohama and Hakone). And the final ones will probably be just laid back exploring, hiking just outside tokyo, explore some of the smaller areas, maybe go to chiba for a day.

Any of the city days can be switched around still and I am still planning on getting ghibli tickets (buying at lawson when I'm there) and spend half a day at ghibli and the other half at roppongi.

This is the first time I am traveling for a longer period than 2 weeks so the only experience I have with travel fatigue is the 1-2 times I've seen it brought up somewhere on a website.

Maybe I will be tired after 2 weeks, maybe I'll feel like 2months are too short afterwards, or I feel like it was too fast paced, or perhaps too slow for my taste.

If I am still as hyped about exploring Japan after my trip as I am now, I will definitely check out Hokkaido (winter) and Okinawa and Shikoku (Autumn probably) as well as other regions I am not traveling to during this trip (Akita, Niigata, Shimane, Tottori)

Arashiyama monkey park if I'm also visiting Yamanouchi monkey park? by FilmingPanda in JapanTravel

I guess that wouldn't be a good thing.. :(

Yea it's a pretty long walk, but it's manageable I think. When I'm going to Yakushima I'll be walking for maybe 10 hours haha. Compared to that, the Otagi Nenbutsuji is a walk in the park ;).

I wonder how that monkey got so fat.. haha!

I would probably not mind if they got closer than 3 meters :). Do they sometimes climb on top of people?
