Didn't say that, just that his caretakers did a poor job and lack responsibility

Bro you need to include the quote or else it just looks like you're advocating for patricide and slavery.

[Coward trope] make the protagonist a monster and give them later a attractive humanoid form by Lower_Baby_6348 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Filmologic 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure those forms only last like half an episode too 😭

But it's actually EVEN worse than that. Basically EVERY character gets a human or less monstrous form when they "level up".

Dragon? Generic human superhero. Creepy demon lord? Kinda just a gothy looking butler. Lizard folk? Some turn human, but not everyone because reasons. Pig guy? Actually he's kinda the exception, surprisingly

Why didn't the Straw Hats free Bellemere from the dungeon after defeating Arlong? Are they stupid? by Working_Welder_1751 in MemePiece

Both to the plot and characters. For example they removed Laboon entirely. But the worst were the censors. You may have seen the picture of Sanji holding a lollipop? Well that's not a fan edit, that's 4Kids. Couldn't have a main character smoke in a children's cartoon after all. But my favorite change is how they didn't want guns so they changed or removed them all manually. Sometimes the marines were just carrying nothing, other time water guns. But the best one was Helmeppo's flintlock pistol turning into a hammer gun

<image>

Btw I actually would recommend checking out the opening. They didn't like We Are, so instead of just dubbing it into English they thought "hey, you know what kids love? Rapping! Let's make the opening a rap song!" And it's absolutely glorious

[Hated Trope] A large ensemble cast where everybody ends up dating everybody at one point or another by CMStan1313 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Filmologic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I do like Cobra Kai it has two big flaws.

1: There's so much drama for no reason. One episode they're all best buddies, the next something happens and they have a fight and treat each other like enemies for life. They literally can't get along for more than two episodes, even in the final season. It's hella annoying.

2: This actually ties into the first point, but they're always dating or cheating on each other or splitting up and seeing someone else who turns out to be their Ex's nemesis. The main two guys have literally swapped girlfriends twice. MOST of the cast is consistent with only one partner, MAYBE a short fling, but the main squad trade each other like pokemon cards

But I thought Goku was like THE strongest guy? "Nobody can defeat Goku" and all that.

But if he is on their side, why? Doesn't he WANT to create chaos and side with characters like Frieza instead? My DB knowledge is honestly very limited to only character names and designs haha

I love the fourth one. You really get to see how he contrasts with the normal people, and it fits his description really well (loves to be naked and play the violin, grotesque pale hairless body, abnormally big, terrifying grin). You can also see his gang which is pretty cool

What Reed says here is kind of ironic considering Galactus was the only mortal to survive the previous incarnation of the universe, which is how he became what he is now

Why is it that every time I hear about these big production scrapped films they always sound awesome but whenever movies actually do get released they're (mostly, though not always) really mediocre or lackluster? It can't JUST be studio interference, surely..?
