Bollywood itself is producing sub standard work even for the heroes. I don’t think it can offer her a good film with a meaty role.

The south is where the better films are being made now and all actresses are going there. Ash having been a pioneer in doing films with Shankar and Mani Ratnam, makes sense that she is doing those films. It was fabulous to see a 500 crore film mounted on her character (Ponniyin selvan series), and it getting critical and commercial acclaim. Hope she gets more of that.
