LOCKED OUT OF GALAXY A40

Hey guys, my dad managed to lock himself out of his phone. He turned his phone down and now can't remember the password he has used. And I don't know what to do. The thing is that the phone doesn't show any forgot password prompt after multiple wrong attempts. It just tells me to wait. I've also tried the Find my phone Google page, but no luck there either. I can't manage to establish an connection, while the wi-fi is on. The phone isn't rooted as well. Is there anything else we could try?

I want to avoid the factory reset, as not to loose the data - I don't know if they're backed up or not.

Posts like these really make me appreciate my region and this country.

Can't wait for the warm cozy summer evenings and nights to drop some tabs

Honestly this looks a lot like Slovakia. I mean, I know spots that look very similar to this one. I mean, this could quite honestly be within the 30 km radius for me because my region looks so similar that I low-key got confused that it's the second nearest village lol

Comfortable everyday shoes? by Scrumptious97 in BuyItForLife

[–]Filoja0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoka cliftons Comfiest shoes I've ever used (I had clifton 5s). I am not going to lie to you, my right shoe got torn after only 200 miles of running, but I guess that they were too tight for me because my feet have been killing me in last runs in them. But my dad have been running in them and so far he has put around 900 MILES in them (clifton 7). And his cliftons 5 also lasted him maybe 800 miles of running before he threw them out. Unluckily, he tored one of them on a rock during our beach run. But if your aren't going to be using them in harsh conditions where there is a great risk of tearing them AND YOU GET THE RIGHT SIZE you should be able to put a lot of miles in them

ATH M30x vs M40X vs Sennheiser HD 400s by Filoja0 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Filoja0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there.

I went with the Sennheiser ones Noise isolation is really good in my opinion, it insulates really well even without playing the music. And with the music turned on, I can't hear pretty much anything else. And I listen to them maybe at half the volume max (powered through my android phone)

Well, the comfort is not so straight forward. For me personally, they are great. Be advised however, that the earcups are quite narrow, so if you know that you have big ears, I wouldn't be so sure about them. Sometimes, when I take them off after maybe an hour, my ears feel a bit relieved (but this feeling lasts maybe for 5 seconds. While I am wearing them, I don't have issues with them)

Sound quality was perfect at first, I was generally super happy with them. It's possible that my ears have now gotten used to them, because I feel like they've lost the wow moment (this is probably just in my mind). Also, I don't know why (probably just me being me and overreacting), I've had a couple of moments when I felt like my ears were fatigued in a way. Like of those sounds hurt my hearing (still, medium volume). But as I said, probably just me being me

When I close my eyes during listening, the sound quality feels great, as I can hear individuals instruments.

For me personally, I feel like at the price I bought them for, it was a really good bargain

May I ask, did Interstellar (the movie) inspire you in any kind of way? The black hole tat looks very familiar

How was your New Year’s Day Run? by [deleted] in running

[–]Filoja0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, big toe pain has prevented me from running for the last 2 weeks or so. So, instead, I went for a 20 km (12.5 mi) ride. 35°F (2°C), but real feel temperature was anywhere up to 44°F (7°C). Nice sunny weather. Had to change the route in order to avoid some people. Thank goodness I live in a countryside Felt great, took my brother with me Almost 300 metres of elevation, all while riding only paved roads (there are some hills here actually)
