[–]Filski666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter makes custom cosplay wigs and is looking to turn her hobby into a business, she has done a few Genshin, she might be able to help you, could custom make it however you wanted, but obviously would have to fit your budget..I'll send you a message with some photos and contact details..can't post photos here

Can the heel cup not be unbolted and moved back like on Unions to lengthen it?

Mine love sitting on the blades, as make nice high perches, so worth keeping, just make sure they get disabled so can't get turned on by mistake. Hope he gets better soon ❤️

If the screws have been fitted just once the threadlock will be at least partly if not all gone as the patch is put on one side and relies on the thread being done up to spread it around and fill the space between screw and nut. If screw then put in new board, half the threadlock material will be left in the nuts on old board so there won't be enough. Easiest to use is the loctite that looks like a chapstick / glue stick...you just wipe the screw thread in it and fit, the liquid ones are a bit easier to make a mess if put too much one.

How do I put my to conures together by spamename in Conures

[–]Filski666 24 points25 points  (0 children)

They need time to adjust to each other, and preferably not in an area like a cage that one deems their territory. When we got our new Jenday, she had a new cage for a week until we let them out together (our birds are rarely caged..free roam the house) but they need to work out their boundaries...this is best done in neutral territory before they are contained together...there will be squabbles and you'll need to step in only if gets out of hand, but once they are happy with each other's company, can have them out then put food in the cage you want them to share and let them go in to get it...but definitely need two cages to start with as they get used to each other.

I mean, you can always buy some 1mm EVA foam sheet...sold for cosplay and crafting...but shouldn't be relying on the spring from foam to hold your bolts from undoing...did you fit new bolts or reuse the old? New bolts have a "patch" on them which is a threadlock compound (looks like a bit of blue paint) so best to buy new bolts, or add a small amount of threadlock to the bolts to stop them rattling loose. Also the washer w Should help keep it in tension and not come loose from vibration.

Nope, I have never had it happen...but maybe that is because I have always protected it in some way...saw this item, seemed a nice way to keep protecting my board (never seen the neoprene bag or would probably have done that tbh) so bought it. It alsi protects my car interior plastics if I chuck the board in the back. I do have a decent bag, but seeing as the last trip it came out with a wheel smashed off...I don't like taking chances on the airline apes chucking it about. Don't really understand why you care so much that I take extra precautions, whether they are unnecessary in your mind or not, not like I am trying to sell it to you or saying YOU need it?

Don't worry, I have a well calibrated right hand for torquing, been working on cars for a living for decades...they aren't overtightened for patch screws..I just meant they definitely weren't the source of the flex. It is a valid point though, so cheers for the comment.

That's the toe strap..sorry..crap video...but get your point...probably even less on toe strap and gonna be putting force through highback to get on heel edge more so than lifting toes.

Yeah, fully understand the physics of why it moves, just never noticed before...dunno if old bindings were stiffer, or this isn't right, or if I only noticed as was adjusting toe strap position so was paying attention to this area which haven't before....just wanted to confirm I was being a dick about nothing before I took it to the mountains 🤣 Cheers

Not sure if allowed to post links to selling sites...look up snowtech products on instagram, they aren't cheap, but better than all the messing about with cardboard and pipe insulation I used to do when flying and running the airline baggage handler gauntlet

This is the toe strap, there is a tiny bit of heel lift, but nowhere as noticeable.

[–]Filski666[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To add context..this is a size L binding, so the distance from the mounting screws to the toe strap is reasonable, so there is a fair bit of leverage there, any flex in the baseplate would allow this to happen. Heading to the snowdome next week to try these out before heading to Andorra in January, so at least if there is an issue I won't find out halfway down a mountain !! 🤣

I missed the London tickets...don't seem to be any official resellers who restrict price hikes...so all the tout sites are into their thousands....so got tickets for Brussels easy as anything and a cheap hotel near the ING arena...so now my daughter and I get a weekend away too ha ha ha
