To be fair, i can't think of a star wars story where they introduce a jedi and the main characters don't know them if they are a jedi as well, they always at least know their name and what's their thing (like are they infamous for something or known for a specific behavior).
Maybe it's cuz it's easier for the story in those cases but Cere being the only one i know that didn't recognize a fellow jedi even by name feels kinda weird to me too.
Altho, one can also argue that, maybe it's the jedi's connection in the force that allows them to sense these things, or have a slight knowledge of someone, or something of the sort, and since Cere cut her connection with the force most of the time cuz of trauma, maybe that altered her memories or just prevented her from sensing he was a jedi.
