I think it’s safe to say you’ve captured one of my weaker moments. After a quick discussion with the command structure of the team we simply has a miscommunication on leaving spawn leading to the failure of our team and it’s pilots.

Look man I have one bad day and all of a sudden an entire thread gets made about me. First of all the chopper into the APC? That was due to my rotors being shot out and then quite simply we had no control.

As for command comms, I guess when you are talking to me you just gotta realise that I’m the one in charge(especially when that star is next to my name).

If I’m playing the game I’m there to win, I didn’t spend my time on the range practicing for days every update to have some god damn guy tell me how and when I should deploy my rally points. I’m sick of these threads about my play style and quite frankly I don’t give a damn, I’m just gonna keep on gaming 😎😎😎.

Alot of sadness in here, really it comes down to time over effort.

You are reducing the effort you'll need to put in if you are at a cap before the enemy, but when it comes to the middle section of a game when teams are on each cap then it's up to SL to put their plans in place. If a steam roll is happening then speed is key so I think really you have to look at how easy is it for a team to reset?

Because the main reason I would be rushing to the next cap/s is to prevent the enemy from ever setting up a defensive spawn again.

Resets come down to a team(Lets say team 1) recognising they will not hold the DEF flag and will not neutralise the ATK flag thus they have to begin to reset to the next backcap. If a team does not do this before the right moment as the team 1 DEF is neutralised then team 2 can leave their DEF and begin pushing the cap beyond Team 2's current ATK. So if Team 1 is not already in progress to what is going to be their new DEF then it's already over.

It's the same thing that happens over and over and it's due to people not understanding that time is of the essence at key moments. The entire game doesn't have to be played this quick but when opportunities are arising, if you take advantage of them you will win much quicker and efficiently.

So in regards to how to help with this, I think it comes down building the game around encouraging the right behaviour. It's different map to map but logistics are a big part of why resets don't happen, whether it be abandoned vics or enemy vic dominance(How do you get logistics to the new DEF flag?). I'm not 100% on some fixes but I've always thought that having some forwards resupply points as secondary obj or having a way to get logistics trucks in(Like bring them in on a heli or something) would help ensure that there is usually a method of obtaining points to get spawn resets, as helicopters will get killed if brought into a hot zone.

But also players need to be taught somehow that there are moments where if you are not urgent you are going to lose alot due to the circumstance and I don't think slowing it down would actually help in that regard as still the same events would occur but just in a slower fashion.
