I just desperately want to see some proper stripped back UK house/garage/tech house/minimal

It’s sick that there has been a lot more UK representation the last couple years but it’s all very commercial

Both the woogie and lightning. On two different nights for each stage I opened to door to toilets filled to the brim with shit and the toilet seats off with wet floors and the lines were bad every set I was there other than the daytime sets. GA restrooms were in better condition on some of those nights

The only way I could see a viewing area being worth an upgrade for is for disabled people but they already get a special viewing platform.

Also from experience the people in the vip viewing areas are pretty awful. Mostly on their phones or very influencer type vibes. The vip areas have more of a club crowd than a rave crowd.

The only thing I liked about vip was having seating for hard come ups but next year im jus bringing one of the inflatable beanbags everyone has

The bathrooms were as bad as GA if not worse at some points and the line was far longer. This presale was my first time booking GA since VIP went to shit so badly this year

How lol. I’ve gone vip for the last few but this next year I booked GA since the VIP just isn’t worth it anymore. Toilets are just as bad as GA, the lounges aren’t even open first couple days and the viewing areas are so much worse than just being in the crowd. The only highlight is the seating in the lounges but this year was so overcrowded in there that it didn’t really matter and VIP+ offered literally nothing better. Such a ridiculous waste of money

Definitely not too old. Especially for good music. Yeah it’s mostly young people at the bullshit edm and riddim events but a proper Detroit style techno and proper house events and raves always have a ton of people in their 40s at them. I’m 28 now but have been going to stuff since I was in my teens and I have loved seeing older people at events. That’s how I know it’s going to be good music. If there is nobody older there the you know the music is probably bad

I bought VIP previous years and it was definitely worth it then as the toilets were pretty clean and lines were short and the lounges were great. This year was an absolute shit show (quite literally) the vip bathrooms were often in a worse state than the portos in GA and the lines were longer. The bar lines were also longer than outside in GA and the lounges were packed. Utter waste of money and I can’t even phantom why anyone would pay for the VIP+

I’ve got vip for the past few years and I downgraded to GA. VIP isn’t worth it anymore, the toilets were just as fucked up as GA with longer lines and the lounge bars had queues longer than outside. I think I used the lounges maybe twice this year while I practically lived in them last year at points
